“All genres are seeing a reduction in the number of acquisitions and an increased focus on a limited number of high-profile shows that either have something highly unique or are based on iconic brands that bring a pre-established audience,” said Philippe Soutter, co-founder of PGS Entertainment. “This is due to a decline in venture capital funding and in government support for kids programming.”

Following the success of the first season of The Jungle Bunch to the Rescue!, PGS scored its first presale of the second season, to Germany’s Super RTL. The new season was commissioned by France Televisions and is currently in production. Produced by TAT Productions and Master Films, the first season has been sold in 180 territories, including to such broadcast partners as France 3, Rai, TVE, ABC Australia and Super RTL.
The Jungle Bunch follows the adventures of a comedic array of animals, including Maurice the penguin, Miguel the gorila nad Fred the warthog.

The 52x11-minute new season was commissioned by France Télévisions and is currently in production. The show, which comes from TAT Productions and Master Films, follows the adventures of a variety of animal characters, including a penguin who thinks he's a tiger, a gorilla, a singing warthog and a tiger fish, among others. All distribution and licensing rights for the franchise are managed by PGS Entertainment.
